Our classrooms

Teddy Bear Class

Welcome to the Teddy Bear Class. The Teddy Bear class has up to 16 children each day. Mrs. Joanne Budlong is the Lead Teacher of the Program. She has been teaching at FACE for 5 years. Erin Knox is a Teddy Bear Teacher. She joined FACE in Fall 2022. All 3 teachers are certified through EEC as Preschool teachers. In many cases, Teddy Bears is a child’s first Preschool experience. We take things slow at first, while the children become more comfortable in their surroundings, their teachers and their peers. We help make the transition to Preschool as comforting as possible. You can help this at home by expressing excitement and positive feelings about this great big step of going to school! Children entering the Teddy Bear class are a minimum of 2 years and 9 months at the start of September. Sara Hamilton joined Teddy Bears as a Teacher in October 2023. She has worked with Preschoolers for the past 5 years and is certified through EEC.

Chipmunk Class

Welcome to the Chipmunk Class. We have 2 Chipmunk classrooms with up to 10 children in each class daily. The Green Chipmunk group is run by Mrs. MacDonald. Mrs. Kate MacDonald is the Lead Teacher of the Chipmunk Program and has been teaching at FACE for the past 16 years. The Blue Chipmunk group is run by Miss Molly Naser, who attended Face when she was a child. Miss Molly has been at FACE for 4 years. Mrs. Carolyn Tiberi’s role is as a support teacher for the Chipmunk class, and administrative support in the office. All 3 teachers are certified through EEC as Preschool teachers. Miss Emma Woolard supports our Chipmunk classrooms part time. Although the children will be assigned to one of the two Chipmunk groups, they will have the opportunity to work with both teachers in the classrooms. The children will participate in activities in both classrooms and with both teachers. The children are given the opportunity to engage with all the teachers and utilize all materials and toys in both classrooms. Children entering the Chipmunk Class are approximately 3.4 to 4.4 at the start of the school year in Fall.

Butterfly Class

Welcome to the Butterfly Class. We have 3 classrooms which consist of 8 children each day. Miss Fitzpatrick is the Lead Teacher of the Butterfly Program. She is also leads the Red Butterfly group. Miss Melissa Fitzpatrick has been teaching at FACE for 7 years. Ms. Kelli Donahue leads the Yellow Butterfly group. Ms. Kelli has also been teaching at FACE for 7 years. Miss Tabitha Crepaux leads the Purple Butterfly group. Miss Tabitha has been teaching at FACE for 4 years. Miss Meegan is our wonderful cook. She also supports the Butterfly classes each afternoon. Meegan has been with us at FACE for 8 years. All Butterfly Teachers are certified through EEC as Preschool teachers. Although the children will be assigned to one of the three Butterfly classrooms, they will have the opportunity to work with all the teachers in all the classrooms. The children rotate between the three rooms throughout the week, giving children an opportunity to engage with all teachers and utilize all materials and toys. Children entering the Butterfly class are approximately 4.3 to 4.11 at the start of the school year in Fall. Mr. Anthony joined FACE in March 2024 as an Assistant Teacher. Anthony has worked with adolescents previously and is excited to work towards his certification and training in Preschool Teaching.
